Editing Test
Sometimes I have to polish writing that’s close to where I want it to be – but could be marginally better, if not a whole lot better. Sometimes “pot” helps this activity, sometimes it blocks it. In order to simulate wordsmiths normally found at the New York Times or The New Yorker going over my copy with a fine-toothed comb, I need “medication” that keeps me glued to pixels on a screen for hours on end. Nope. The stoniness this toking tandem produced did not encourage tackling meticulous tasks. I felt more creative than industrious, if that makes any sense. YMMV.
